Call for Al-Anon Helpline Volunteers

The relaunched and extended helpline that has been up and running for three years now and has been a great success. In that time over 10,000 calls have been answered by over 80 volunteers who have been volunteering 4 hours a week from their home.

New volunteers are now needed to ensure we can keep the helpline going 12 hours a day through 2019. This is a great opportunity for members located all around the country to help and strengthen our fellowship and grow in service. No matter where you are as long as you have a phone you can help. Training will be provided at 4 regional locations Cork, Claremorris, Limerick and Dublin. New recruits will have an induction session from 11 am to 12:30 pm and existing helpline volunteers will join the new recruits from 1:00 pm to 3:00 om.
