Hello and Welcome to Al-Anon, we are a support group for people affected by someone else’s drinking, be it a friend or a family member. You are welcome to come to our local support meetings, you can just sit and listen without talking if you prefer. We can help you because we understand what you’re going through. Al-Anon has but one purpose, to help people affected by the alcoholism of a loved one or friend. We do this by practicing The Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions. Your inquiry is completely confidential and anonymous.

A few questions you might feel the need to ask….

Will Al-Anon respects my confidentiality and anonymity? Yes

Can I belong to Al-Anon if the drinker does not admit to a drinking problem? Yes

Can I belong to Al-Anon if the problem drinker does not live with me? Yes

Will I gain knowledge of the illness of alcoholism? Yes

Will Al-Anon helps me to realize that my problem is not unique? Yes

Can Al-Anon be contacted by telephone? Yes

Do I feel sorry for myself, inadequate or guilty?
